Ausdance Queensland and the Sunshine Coast Community Dance Network presents:
The Sunshine Coast Community Dance Network was established in 1994 to enable dance artists on the Sunshine Coast to network, exchange ideas and to offer the community diverse dance experiences. On Saturday 27 May 2006 the Network will host a performance of dance works presented by numerous Dance Schools and Community Groups from the Nambour region. This free event will run from 9.00am to 12.00pm.

Balkan and Middle Eastern Dance and Music Camp
7-12 September 2006
5 days and nights of Music and Dance Workshops, Concerts, Bellydance Cabarets and Balkan dance parties, all in the beautiful setting of Springbrook National Park in the Gold Coast Hinterland of South East Queensland.
"Bahar Bayram" is Turkish for Spring Festival. Join us in a celebration of music and dance in the spirit of springtime - a time for growth and expansion, opening the mind to new experiences, making new friends and blossoming creatively!
This Festival of Music and Dance is an opportunity to cultivate creativity and collaboration between artists and to encourage the growth of Australia's World Music community. "Bahar Bayram" is a not–for–profit event planned to grow annually and sure to become an eagerly awaited event each year.
The 2006 Inaugural Camp brings together some of the most talented teachers and performers in Australia's Middle Eastern and Balkan Music and Dance scene, all ready to share their talents and knowledge in a friendly, community atmosphere.
